Resolution support by UV-Setter With the "super cells" screening technique -which is also used by all other systems- the UV-Setter exposes up to 300 lpi with full grayscales, and up to 400 lpi upon request. CtP is known for eliminating processing steps - and the related expenses: creation of film, stripping and imaging on the plate. This advantage is lost in other exposure methods because of the high cost of materials (printing plate, chemicals and disposals).

With CTP for UV-sensitive plates it's different: You use your inexpensive UV-sensitive plates and the existing processor; the cost of disposal remains low. Existing film processors and contract frames are available for backup. After all, the printing plates to be processed are identical.

An added bonus is the minimal operating cost of the UV-Setter.
